Velvet Hydration is an organic face hydration spray that provides the skin with fundamental water-soluble vitamins, trace elements, and antioxidants. This antioxidant essence has an immediate calming effect on the skin and leaves it soft like velvet.
This worldwide unique formula contains the Hibiscus flower, also known as nature’s botox plant thanks to its skin rejuvenating properties. The hibiscus flower extract contains an extraordinary concentration of vitamin C as well as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that firm, brighten and gently renew the skin.
The extracts of Rose, Stevia and the Opuntia fruit potentiate the collagen stimulating action of the Hibiscus flower and protect the skin from free radicals and premature aging. This formulation fights skin inflammation, impurities and is extremely soothing and calming.
The potent whole-plant extracts of this formula preserve the hundreds of different plant components, which make antioxidants such as natural vitamin C more potent than in its isolated or synthetic form.

Medicinal Whole Plant Extracts – The full spectrum extracts of this floral essence are made from the entire parts of the plant (leaves, flowers, fruits). This way of extraction preserves hundreds of beneficial components for the skin like natural vitamin C, E, A and many more. When these substances remain within the natural context of the plant, they potentiate and balance each other, which avoids allergies and skin reactions.
We do not use chemically altered or synthetic ingredients such as ascorbic acid (isolated vitamin C). These types of artificial substances lack the potency and balance of plant based vitamin C.
Essential oils – The premium quality essential oils of Velvet Hydration such as Damascena Rose and Neroli have been obtained through slow steam distillation of the entire plant. Neroli is the flower of the bitter orange and characterized by its hypnotic scent. This hydrosol is obtained by slow steam distillation and tightens, firms and tones the skin. It balances the skin sebum and protects the skin cells from oxidative stress. Neroli essential oil is a powerful antioxidant and has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. It’s the perfect ally for inflamed and irritated skin.
The Stevia leaf extract contains a significant amount of chlorophyll that protects the skin from free radicals and is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. This plant known for its natural sweetness also contains magnesium and betacarotenes that protect and soften the skin.
The skin-firming powers of hibiscus are well documented, touting it as a natural ‘Botox. ‘ Its high vitamin C content promotes the production of collagen, thus maintaining skin elasticity.
The flowers of the Hibiscus have antioxidant properties that help to reduce inflammation on the skin caused by acne or other skin problems. They also inhibit elastin degradation, helping to maintain the skin’s elasticity and thereby offering anti-aging effects.

Opuntia Prickly Pear cactus fruit has the extraordinary ability to accumulate water in its interior despite the grueling heat of its natural habitat, the desert. This extraordinary capacity of storing moisture is transferred to the skin, improving its natural abilities to keep itself ideally hydrated. The prickly pear is rich in mucilage, which soothes and protects the skin. Other nutrients include magnesium, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins C and B, beta-carotene, iron, calcium, potassium and many others.

This antioxidant regeneration essence can be applied at any moment of the day as well as before and after other LE PURE products. The application can be repeated throughout the day as often as desired.
Here are some application ideas according to climate conditions, skin phototypes and skin alterations:
Applying 2-3 pumps of this antioxidant essence on the eyes is a refreshing morning ritual that decongests the eyelids and alleviates swollen and dry eyes. It is a truly pleasurable way to wake up your eyes and skin. For an extra wakeup call, store Velvet Hydration in the fridge and apply it cold.
We often wake up with fresh and luminous skin in the morning, but as the hours go by our face gets increasingly tired and expression lines are settling on the skin from periods with high concentration, prolonged hours of screen work and air conditioned or heated rooms.
Apply 2 pumps of Velvet Hydration, take 3 deep breaths and connect to your body. This microritual can be repeated every 1-2 hours and can have an extraordinarily positive impact on your skin as well as your stress levels during an intense work day. Your skin will look less tired and your energy levels will be higher at the end of the day.
In case of sensitive skin, apply 2-3 pumps of Velvet Hydration and massage 1-2 doses of the Midnight Rejuvenation oil into the damp skin.
This is also the ideal morning and evening treatment for sensitive, reactive skin, and skin with redness, inflammation, eczema or rosacea.
The purifying plant extracts of Velvet Hydration have antiinflammatory and antimicrobial properties and help to treat and purify acne throughout the day. Apply the essence every 2-3 hours to keep the skin hydrated and purified. Avoid touching the skin as this adds bacteria from your fingers to the inflamed areas.
Apply 2-3 pumps after the application of the makeup cream Perfecting Illumination. Velvet Hydration fixes the foundation and gives the skin a wonderful extra glow. Repeat this application as often as desired. This is a pro tip from our collaborating makeup artists.
The cold application of Velvet Hydration can be an extremely enjoyable and refreshing experience, especially in the warmer months or during hot flashes. Applying this antioxidant essence cold is also an ideal treatment in case of couperose and in case of broken and fragile capillaries.
The formulation of this organic face spray does not change when exposed to cold temperatures and can therefore be stored in the fridge.

After sun exposure and light sunburns apply Velvet Hydration to the affected areas and massage a small amount of the Smooth Addiction balm into the skin. After a few minutes the skin will be well nourished and any redness will start to fade.
Spring and fall often cause allergic reactions such as swollen eyes, sneezing and itching skin. Applying Velvet Hydration can calm the eyes and irritated skin.
While travelling on airplanes, the skin tends to dry out. The regular application of Velvet Hydration and the Smooth Addiction balm keeps the skin hydrated and protected.
If you have to wear a protective face mask for many hours, apply Velvet Hydration every 2-3 hours to purify and protect the skin from the bacteria that are accumulating on the inside of the mask, which touches your face.
The Velvet Hydration 15 ml bottle was changed from a spray to a dropper format. The 15 ml format is mostly used as part of our treatment sets and the new dropper format allows for a more precise application. Put 1-2 drops in the palm of your hand and gently pat the product with your fingers onto your skin.
