Facial Aftercare
After a medical facial or aesthetic treatment, the skin can be extremely sensitive. The correct facial aftercare can help to calm the skin and promote its recovery. The ideal post facial skincare avoids products that have a highly activating effect, as the skin was already stimulated during the medical facial.
We are often asked which products to apply post facial treatments. Here is a short overview of the formulations we recommend applying after a recent medical aesthetic treatment on the skin.
Facial Aftercare Products
Post Facial Skincare
Many facial treatments can be invasive and have a strong impact on the skin. Very often, skin reactions appear a few days or even weeks after the treatment. Therefore, please keep in mind that any skin alteration that appears after a medical or aesthetic facial is in almost all cases the skin’s reaction to the facial treatment and not to the Post Facial Skincare products of LE PURE.
After a medical facial, we recommend avoiding any sun exposure by protecting your skin with a sun hat. Applying sunscreen post facial should also be avoided if possible.
Vampire Facial Aftercare
The best vampire facial aftercare treatment is to let the skin rest and recuperate for a few hours.
Vampire Facial Postcare Same Day
Stay clear from cleansers and moisten the skin with Velvet Hydration, which has a calming and purifying effect. On the day after the treatment, apply a few drops of the serum Silk Resurrection on the face and let it absorb for 10-15 minutes.
Vampire Facial Aftercare during 4 weeks
Follow this vampire facial aftercare treatment for the next 4 weeks. After that, you can start incorporating other LE PURE products depending on your skin type and condition.
Aftercare Morning Routine
Spray Velvet Hydration and on the moist skin apply a few drops of Midnight Rejuvenation.
Aftercare Night Routine
Spray Nectar Immortel and a couple doses of Sensual Opulence (or Midnight Rejuvenation) on a cotton pad moistened with filtered water. Follow the Antiaging Face Cleansing Ritual to gently cleanse the skin with wave-like movements. You must avoid rubbing the skin as this can cause irritation and redness.
Apply a few drops of the serum Silk Resurrection, which is extremely calming and also has a natural lifting effect on the skin.
Facial Aftercare Fillers
The ideal facial aftercare after fillers or vitamin injections includes a routine that calms and nourishes the skin, while avoiding a strong stimulation of the skin.
We recommend using the calming products Velvet Hydration, Midnight Rejuvenation and Silk Resurrection. Cleanse the skin with Alpha Tonic and Sensual Opulence following the Antiaging Face Cleansing Ritual to avoid excessive rubbing of the skin.
During a 4-week period refrain from using the LE PURE creams, masques and exfoliation products.
Facial Aftercare Radiofrequency
All LE PURE products can be used after a treatment with radiofrequency.
Facial Aftercare Infrared Sauna
For the Facial Aftercare for Infrared Sauna treatments, you can use all LE PURE products indicated for your skin condition.
If you want to combine the infrared sauna with the exfoliation treatment True Revelation, we recommend exfoliating the skin before using the infrared sauna to improve the purifying action of the sauna.
In case of the masque Instant Liberation, we recommend its application the night before using the sauna and not on the same day.
Facial Aftercare Chemical Peelings
Chemical peelings can have strong and visible effects on the skin. It is therefore very important to know about the possible skin reactions, so that these negative effects are not attributed to the LE PURE products applied after the treatment. We therefore recommend a time frame of 1-3 weeks, where no products should be applied.
These types of peelings can result in burnt skin, just like a sunburn. We can observe a change in skin color, the old burnt skin is darker resulting in visible hyperpigmentation. There may also be plaques of skin and scaling skin.
After these types of treatment, spray good quality water on the face for seven days and do not apply any skincare product. After seven weeks (or as recommended by the professional who did the treatment), follow the 4-week treatment as described in the vampire facial aftercare tab. Protect your skin from the sun with a good sun hat, if you spend time outdoors.
Chemical peelings are often sold as a harmless skin renovation, but we see many clients with extremely fragile skin after many treatments. With a bit more time, they can achieve excellent results with a LE PURE skincare routine that gently stimulates healthy cellular regeneration.
The best skin renewing products are True Revelation, Instant Liberation and Nectar Immortel. These products strengthen the skin instead of making it thin, fragile and prone to more pigmentation problems.
